Wednesday, October 12

Fall has finally come to Oklahoma, and the weather is divine. The forecast from Intellicast this morning was for scattered thunderstorms. Intellicast blew it. We had brilliant blue skies, a nice breeze and warm sunshine. Just perfect for a day at Swan Lake and Linnaeus Teaching Gardens. It was hard to pick just twelve keepers this month, but I did it. Here's what I saw, and forgive me if I don't know the names of the flowers.

I know I bombarded you with flowers this month, but I'm hoping they'll tide you (and me) over during the darker months to come. I do best when the sun shines, so I'll be coming back here often to remind myself of this beautiful fall day. Hope to see you next month.
