Wednesday, May 12

It was a mostly cloudy day here in Tulsa, but no rain interfered with the day's shoot. My shooting buddies, Mary and Jeanne, came over this morning for coffee and coffeecake (home made, by the way), and then we headed out to Oral Roberts University to see what we could see.

The former City of Faith Medical and Research Center at ORU. It is now known as Citiplex Towers and is 2.2 million square foot office complex - 12:01 p.m.

Playing in the mirrored windows at the base of the Prayer Tower (notice the majorly cute orange shoes) - 1:43 p.m.

More playing in front of the mirrored windows (just ignore the tree branches coming out of my head) - 1:47 p.m.

Bronze Sculpture called Praying Hands, which now sits at the entrance to Oral Roberts University, was originally directly in front of the lobby of the City of Faith - 2:36 p.m.

This was my first visit to the ORU campus, but I'm sure it won't be my last. The buildings are architecturally interesting, and the gardens are beautiful, inviting places to sit and enjoy watching the world go by. See you next month.

Sunny your garden gnome is better than the Travelocity one, plus it definetly travels more.

Love tose purple flowers, what a great and vibrant color.

What fun! Traveling with the gnome for your 12. I especially like the shot where he's amongst the flowers.

Cute gnome! I liked him with the fountain and amongst the purple flowers - and that's a cool self portrait of you sitting cross legged with him :D
