Friday, February 12

This month's 12 of 12 was such fun to do. Several people from the digital photography group I belong to joined me to take photos of Tulsa landmarks. When I got home and loaded my photos, I realized my favorites had very little to do with landmarks. Oh, well, it was an awesome day, and I hope you like what I saw.

We met at Tally's Good Food Cafe, a neat old restaurant at the corner of 11th and Yale in Tulsa. They serve a cinnamon roll that literally covers a plate. Five of us ate off of it and still didn't finish it. 10:04 a.m.

We stopped to take pictures of the neon sign at El Rancho Grande when these buds caught my eye. At least this tree thinks spring is on its way. 11:23 a.m.

At El Rancho Grande - Happy Valentine's Day - 11:27 a.m.

The back of an old building across the street from El Rancho Grande - 11:34 a.m.

We spent a good part of our day of Route 66 - 11:45 a.m.

I love this old light fixture, which is hanging in the entrance hall to the Warehouse Market, built in 1930 - 12:32 p.m.

Day & Nite Cleaners, Art Deco building across from the Warehouse Market - built in 1946 - 12:36 p.m.

Arnie's Bar in the Blue Dome District of Tulsa - 12:58 p.m.

In the back room of the Blue Dome Cafe, where we stopped for lunch - 1:57 p.m.

Sweet, sweet dog at a house along Swan Lake - 4:12 p.m.

Pretty berries along Swan Lake - 4:15 p.m.

In Swan Lake - 4:20 p.m.

That's all for this month. Funny how the best laid plans can change so quickly. Maybe I'll do landmarks another month.
